The night before a high profile operation on the PM, the surgeon due to perform the procedure is surprised at her family home by four masked men. The gang quickly take control of her and her family and order her to kill the PM.
When brilliant surgeon Yael Danon is selected to perform a routine operation on the Israeli prime minister it puts her and her whole family in danger. The night before the operation they are taken hostage in their house by masked men and Yael is given an ultimatum - she must kill the prime minister during his operation or her family will die.
Forced by mysterious captors to kill the Israeli prime minister during his upcoming operation, Yael tries everything she can think of to get the it postponed without putting her family, still held hostage at home, in danger. The kidnappers' plan is put at risk when an angry friend comes to see Eyal about a bounced cheque.
The Danons are still hostages in their own home. With Yael having moved the prime minister's operation to buy the family more time, her captors are desperate to get it back on track. Yael is forced to use her wits to bring the operation forward again. Eyal must deal with his money problems to stop people constantly coming to the house, and cracks are beginning to show in the captors' relationships as a power struggle develops.
The Danon family and the kidnappers are surprised when a soldier turns up at the front door, except for Noa, who has been keeping secrets from the rest of the family.
Yael has to perform life-saving emergency surgery on Eyal. The kidnappers now have the soldier captive in the basement. Adam has to bring his team back into line before Alex jeopardises the lives of one of the hostages.
With Noa's boyfriend still captive in the cellar and Eyal still recovering from being shot, Adam is suddenly called away from the house. Yael uses the hospital records to try to identify him. Assaf strikes a private bargain with one of their captors.
Yonatan is determined to get Noa out of the house, even if it means leaving her parents behind. Yael challenges Eyal about his secret money problems. She finds an ally outside the house but cannot risk anything by telling him she is being held hostage.
Yonatan has succeeded in escaping, but things do not go smoothly outside the house. Desperate to look after his children as well as win back Yael's trust, Eyal risks everything to save Assaf.
Noa has made it out of the house and manages to contact Yael's secret ally. Alex is becoming increasingly unreliable, causing tension among the kidnappers. As Adam's plans begin to unravel, Yael is on the trail of the kidnappers' accomplice at the hospital.
Yael has made enough discoveries about Adam to call his bluff. At the house, Alex has won his power struggle with Adam but gone crazy. Having something on Adam might not be enough for Yael to save her family.
With his wife seriously ill, respected police officer Adam Rubin abducts the prime minister, who is the key to saving her life. Soon Adam and his accomplices are taken under siege.
The group is stuck in a yeshiva building and surrounded by police, including Adam's best friend, Amsalem. As Adam scrambles to buy time, hostage negotiator Orna establishes a line of communication.
Neta's medical condition continues to deteriorate. Adam decides to take immediate action where they are. He asks Orna to release a mysterious prisoner named Stanislav Kogan. Orna demands the release of a hostage in return.
Stanislav begins to carry out what he was brought there to do. Guy makes a significant realization about Giora. Zohar from the Secret Service suspects that Moni was not killed accidentally. Zinger receives a surprise visit from Ben, Lydia's emissary.
Adam searches for a getaway route out of the Yeshiva. With Guy's help, he discovers a network of underground tunnels. Zohar faces consequences for digging into Moni's death. Adam makes a gesture of good will to the police.
Adam searches the tunnels for a way to extricate everyone, but he's not the only one who knows about the underground passageways. Ben follows Sarah. Zohar breaks into Moni's office and discovers a hidden classified disk.
Adam has a confrontation in the tunnel that leaves him facing a dilemma. Ben tries to get Adam's plan out of Sarah. Zion starts losing patience and decides to escape the compound. Ben finds a way to get leverage on Adam.
A heart-stopping phone call pulls Adam away from the compound and throws his plans into turmoil. Zion discovers what happened to Sarah. Orna suspects something is going on inside the yeshiva. Zion takes matters into his own hands.
Arthur, a German journalist, arrives in the country to cover the events. Adam meets with Zohar, who tips him off about Regent Corps. Neta threatens the prime minister. Orna begins to suspect that Amsalem is hiding something.
Adam tries to access a notebook that Moni left for him that might contain some important identities. Adam recruits two friends from the past to help him with a new abduction and makes final preparations for ending the hostage crisis.
The police are planning to break into the compound. Adam and his team hatch an elaborate extrication plan. Arthur interviews a famous Sheik and one of the most wanted terrorists from the West Bank. Yuval gives Zohar a new lead.
Ben's ultimatum for Adam is about to expire, but now that Adam has leverage, he's ready to make his own demands. Orna stumbles upon a missing piece of the puzzle, and Zohar finally realizes what Regent Corps is planning.
