The story follows Avli and Dadarao, a couple from Dongav Boodruk village. Dadarao, a two-term Sarpanch deeply rooted in politics, believes his wife Avli an educated yet modest homemaker lacks understanding. When the Sarpanch seat is reserved for OBC women, he reluctantly nominates her. After Avli wins, she gradually realises her strength and responsibilities, taking charge of village affairs while balancing her household. As she grows into her role, Dadarao’s male ego is challenged, and he ultimately accepts her leadership. The story portrays Avli’s empowerment and their shared journey of transformation.
In Dongav Budruk village, a heated election takes place between the current Sarpanch, Dadarav Bhusale, and his challenger, Anna Divakar. To gain public support, Dadarav organizes a cultural festival. However, Anna plots to disrupt the event. Dadarav's wife, Avli, whom he often underestimates, plays a pivotal role. She anticipates Anna's moves and works to protect the festival from sabotage. During the event, a sudden power outage creates chaos, adding to the tension.
With Avli exposing Anna’s plans, Dadarav's event succeeds. However, due to the election being reserved for OBC women, Dadarav is ineligible to run. Anna nominates his wife, Aishwarya, as a candidate.
