The show follows two brothers, Nick & Toby, who discover that they have the power to transform into powerful creatures known as Gormitis. Their two friends Jessica & Lucas join the fight and together they harness the power of the four elements. Now it's up to them to save their world from destruction.
Obscurio is attacking the Air Nation citadel in the hope of acquiring a magical egg that gathers all of the Air Gormiti powers, but before he can steal it he has to find it first, as it is hidden in a dense, protective fog.
Thanks to a new dark spell cast by Obscurio, the Air Gormiti floating citadels near Eagle Peak are falling to the ground; if The Lords of Nature don't stop Magmion from using Obscurio's spell, the Air nation will be defenseless.
During an attack on the Air Nation, Magmion uses one of Obscurio's new spells to trap all the Air Gormitis - including Jessica Lord of Air - under an invisible impenetrable dome.
Obscurio's powers are getting stronger and stronger. He has uncovered a spell that hits the Air Gormitis and makes their wings disappear.
Back in Venture Falls, Lucas suddenly finds himself losing all self-confidence; at the same time in Gorm the Forest Nation is under attack.

It is now Toby's turn to be under Obscurio's Curse of the Elements spell; this time the spell turns the Lord of the Sea into a loner who is incapable of working with his team.
Obscurio's Curse of Elements has returned - this time affecting Nick, The Lord of Earth; under the dark magic's influence Nick becomes clumsy and uncoordinated in everything he does.
Unable to destroy the Lords of Nature, Obscurio is now seeking the Ice Sabre, a sword that will give him infinite power to rule over Gorm and the Earth.
Back in Venture Falls, the kids are experiencing strange deja-vu phenomenons; suspecting that it is linked to Obscurio, they gate to Gorm.
Things are heating up in Gorm - literally; for some reason, the temperatures are rising to dangerous levels, threatening all life.
With a powerful artefact, Obscurio has almost achieved his goal and he's creating a dimentional rift that could give him access to the Temple of Supreme Luminos.
Obscurio uncovers a spell within the Codex of Magor that grants him access to a well of evil magic, which he uses to create an eclipse that casts a shadow across Gorm and the Earth.

A year after Obscurio's defeat, the kids are living peacefully in Venture Falls, but when they develop powers over nature, they know something is up in Gorm.

Obscurio's minions are capturing one of each kind of Gormitis, for a ceremony that is supposed to bring Obscurio back to his full powers.
Since Magor poisoned the Earth sphere, earthquakes have ravaged the Earth and the citadels of Gorm threaten to collapse; to save the two worlds, the Lords of Nature ask Roscalion for help.
Using the Earth sphere, Magor creates a portal between Earth and the Gorm to allow Magmion to go and capture the Lords of Nature in the underground tunnels; he manages to capture Jessica and takes her to the underground.
On Earth the trees are invaded by a red moss that weakens everything it touches; the Lords begin to investigate but they are attacked by Nefastor.
Magor casts a spell freezing the seas on Earth and on Gorm; Nefastor attacks the children and captures Toby by imprisoning him in the mirror.
During a class trip, the children discover a landfill capable of creating a Metal Gormiti; they just have time to transform themselves before facing the terrible Metalus, but the odds are not in their favour and Lucas is captured.
The children discover an old book that reveals a passage to the Volcano Magor; this could be their chance to finally recover their spheres, but it is all a trap.
