Zoobilee Zoo is an Emmy Award-winning children's television series featuring costumed performers dressed as animal characters. It originally aired from 1986–1987, then in syndication until 2001 on several television channels including commercial network television stations, public television stations, The Learning Channel, and the Hallmark Channel. Only 65 episodes of the original incarnation of the show were made. While it was in syndication for 15 years, it was no longer airing on television as of July 2011. The original 65 episodes are currently owned by Hallmark Properties and were produced by WQED Pittsburgh. Generally the plot of each episode consists of the main characters, called Zoobles, encountering difficulties usually common to young children and then learning a moral lesson about dealing with such problems, such as being apprehensive of going to a doctor or learning to appreciate others. Each character has a certain gimmick in his behavior or interests that gives him a unique view on each problem faced. Mayor Ben, who usually appears at the beginnings and ends of each episode, calls the fans and viewers of the show Zoobaroos.
Talkatoo gets too sick to be in Bravo's little play. Whazzat, her understudy, must now take Talkatoo's place in the play. But Whazzat is unsure she wants to be a star.
Whazzat realizes that being an adult isnt as fun as she thought it'd be, when her friends, the Zoobles crown her ""Grown Up For A Day""
In Zoobilee Zoo County Fair Day has arrives. Whazzat ends up winning a blue ribbon for her honesty.
Bravo's mean cousin, Otto Von Fox, comes for a visit. And afterwards, the Zoobles learn to appreciate Bravo's directing.
The Zoobles go on a trip through the ""Tunnel Of Surprise"", when they are searching for a missing rhymo in the ""Land of Rhymes""
A genie arrives in Zoobilee Zoo, and grants a wish to every Zooble. But the Zoobles soon learn it's more fun doing things for themselves then having them done for them.
FOUR tooth fairies arrive at Whazzat's house after she loses her first tooth.
Bravo attempts to put on a good play by replacing his Zooble friends with robot replacements, but the play goes wrong, but luckily Bravo's friends arrive to save the day, and to let Bravo know that friends forgive each other for their mistakes.
Bravo is getting ready to stage a production of ""Treasure Island"", but during a rehearsal he comes down with a cold. Talkatoo strongly reccomends that Bravo should see a doctor in order to get well, but the idea of seeing a doctor makes Bravo nervous. The Zoobles try to help Bravo through this situation and make him realize that seeing a doctor isn't so bad.
Sandy wins a contest to visit Zoobilee Zoo, but her wheelchair makes the other Zoobles uncomfortable.
