Actor and former footballer Vinnie Jones takes on 2,000 acres of West Sussex countryside and a host of over-ambitious farmyard build projects. Over a hectic summer, Vinnie’s gang bicker, banter and bond revealing a side to his character never seen before.
Vinnie is determined to create his own oasis in Sussex as he battles bereavement following the death of his wife Tanya. But tensions boil with Builder Wobbly over a concrete pour and PA Emma struggles to source a banquet for Hedgehogs.
A chaotic start to Vinnie’s build projects spirals out of control when a fire in the yard threatens the whole farm. PA Emma is forced to intervene and Vinnie seeks solace in his safe place – the Sussex countryside. Paul ‘Gazza’ Gascoigne visits.
Vinnie's dream stumbles, tensions rise with locals and inspectors threaten the build. The gang embark on an ambitious sheep racing charity event – can Emma battle weather, tractors and a belligerent Vinnie with just 5 days to pull it off?
Vinnie’s LA agent visits, lobbying a return to Hollywood by autumn, but Wobbly is way behind with the build. An ambitious Land Rover restoration leads to further spiralling costs, and a simple office move for Emma turns into a farce of musical chairs.
The build picks up pace but Wobbly goes on holiday, leaving his boss to carry the can. Then Vinnie becomes distracted by badgers and a hedgehog creates a tricky dilemma. A homemade cordial goes horribly wrong. Emma and Vinnie open up about their sobriety.
Wobbly returns for a surprising and emotional race to finish the courtyard. Little does he know that Vinnie has a new mega project for him. Bats and snakes come to stay. Vinnie and Emma take time out together.
