Snog Marry Avoid? is a British reality television show broadcast on BBC Three, produced by Remarkable Television. The first four series were presented by Atomic Kitten member Jenny Frost, with Ellie Taylor presenting from the fifth series onwards. The show focuses mainly on transforming 'fakery obsessed' or 'slap addicts' in Britain into natural beauties by stripping them of their skimpy clothes and layers of make-up and giving them a makeunder instead of a makeover with the help of POD – the Personal Overhaul Device. POD's commentary is created by comedian Doug Faulkner and is voiced by the series 1-3 producer.
Jenny Frost and POD (the Personal Overhaul Device) countdown their top ten most shocking makeunders from previous series. Among the terrible tans and mountains of make-up are ten memorable transformations that demonstrate POD's ability to turn OTT girls and boys into natural beauties. They also recall the most extreme 'alternative' visitors to POD and showcase the best beauty tips and secrets from girls on nights out across the UK. Chantelle Houghton and Jodie Marsh get the POD treatment, as do a number of Katie Price's biggest fans.
In the climax to POD's work over the last year, fakery and natural beauty go head to head in the first ever Snog Marry Avoid beauty pageant. Six previous PODettes face POD's catwalk, where they reveal whether they have kept their natural look or turned back to a life of fakery.

POD and Jenny meet Larna from Newcastle, whose hair is ruined from glueing in too many extensions, peroxide blonde SJ, who loves corsets and all things pink, fake-tan addict Donia, whose tarty look attracts the wrong kind of men, and neon-obsessed Izzy, who believes she is a high maintenance woodland elf.
POD and Jenny meet glitter-loving Jade who is addicted to sparkle and revealing clothes; colourful Hannah who sprays her face with hairspray to set her intricate make-up; and punk Lauren who loves her Mohican, ripped clothes and tattoos.
POD and Jenny meet busty Chelsea, who describes herself as 'double sexy'; 17-year-old Josh from Liverpool, who wears bean cans and cassette tapes instead of jewellery; school teacher Katie from Cardiff, who prefers getting ready to the night out itself; and a neon army who are fighting against the colour brown.

POD has her lens on two of the worst seasonal fakers and gives them make-unders for Christmas. Verity's party outfit leaves little to the imagination, but she insists that 'all girls get their baubles out at Christmas'. And addicted-to-fakery Jason is as brown as a Christmas pudding but insists that 'any attention is good attention', while his mum says 'I just want him to stop!'
