The Patriarchate of Moscow and the POKROB Film Studio deliver to global Orthodoxy a documentary series of six episodes with a total duration of five hours on the holy life and work of Saint Paisios of Mount Athos.
The first episode is dedicated to the beginning of the earthly life of Elder Paisios – his birth in the village of Faros in Turkey, his baptism by the monastic Saint Arsenios the Cappadocian (1840–1924), his childhood & youth in the hills of Konitsa, and his service in the Army during the Civil War (1946-49).
