Let's Learn Japanese (Basic II), planned by the Japan Foundation, is a television course for anyone interested in learning the Japanese language and getting to know the Japanese way of life. It is based on Episodes 14-26 of the video drama, "Yan and the Japanese People", which features the experiences of a young foreign man who lives in Tokyo. The use of this drama in the programs makes the task of language learning more enjoyable, and ensures also that the viewers will pick up a great deal of information about contemporary Japanese life.
