Хлопця на ім’я Кадзуя кидає дівчина. З відчаю, він встановлює собі додаток, в якому можна замовити дівчину погодинно. Трохи пошукавши, він знаходить красиву дівчину, з якою й замовляє побачення. Наступного дня, у призначене місце приходить обрана дівчина, яка виглядає так само, як і на картинці. Саме так розпочинається їхнє веселе й романтичне знайомство, яке точно вийде за рамки звичайних побачень за гроші.
Пригнічений та з розбитим серцем, 20-річний Кіношіта Кадзуя звертається до Діаманта — додатка «дівчина напрокат» — який приводить його до доленосної зустрічі з Мідзухарою Чідзуру, однією з дівчат, що пропонуються.
Одразу після того, як Кадзуя вирішує припинити вдавати, ніби він зустрічається, він ошелешений потрійним відкриттям: Чідзуру не тільки ходить до того ж коледжу, що й він, але ще й живе просто у сусідній з ним квартирі, плюс його бабуся має намір заглянути в гості та хоче її побачити.
