A young female police detective is fighting cancer while trying to solve the murder of a Vancouver billionaire's drug-addicted son.
When Charlie Xie, the son of a prominent real estate developer, turns up dead, Detective Jo Bradley gets her first case as lead – the same day she also receives devastating personal news.
