October 16, 1997. Frank Verstraeten opens the Zillion nightclub and attracts thousands of visitors every weekend. But behind the scenes, the owner keeps an eye on everyone thanks to a whole network of surveillance cameras. Whatever he says, goes.
VIP's are treated to all-you-can-eat caviar and champagne at Zillion. But the club is also a crossroads of all kinds of underworld phenomena. From mafia clans who spend thousands of euros per night to doormen who forcefully claim the door.
Zillion launches a new concept: 'Zundays'. What starts as a soft-erotic show, ends in hardcore porn 'on stage'. When Verstraeten and ex-Miss Belgium Brigitta Callens become involved in a homejacking, the court sets their sights on the club manager.
Zillion is a money machine. Cash is literally carried out in sports bags. On several occasions Verstraeten is robbed by ex-staff members for millions of euros. The police tap his phone.
