With the Welcome to School Festival approaching, Aliya and her friends must set aside their own desires and work together to make the event a success.
Aliya, Autumn, Leo, Zac, Nova, Paisley, Olly, and Liann navigate their first year of high school while becoming friends.
Zac arrives for his first day at Heartlake International High School, and Aliya is so excited to introduce her cousin to all her friends. But will the pressure of making a good impression be too much for Zac?
After making a disaster at a science experiment in school, the friendship between Aliya, Autumn, Liann and Nova is a bit strained. Therefore, Autumn hosts a sleepover at her barn to lighten the mood and for them to work on their friendship. But everything is not as comfy as it seems to be. What was that sound? Did we see a shadow? Could it be that the barn is haunted? The girls will have to work together to figure out the mystery.
Expressing her anger through art, Liann draws a rude picture of Nova. But when the picture gets out, Liann must track it down before Nova sees it. Meanwhile, Zac and Aliya clash as roommates, because Zac is not as good at keeping their shared space tidy. Will the friends be able to work out their differences and see eye to eye?
Unaware that they have the answers to each other's problems, Nova fails to make a popular video game, while Autumn struggles to help a puppy in need.
When all of the dogs escape from the Adoption Center, Nova recruits her friends to track them down before Autumn realizes they're missing.
The friends come together and do what each of them does best to come up with the best idea for this year’s big initiative! Their idea is to turn the annex into a big community center full of creative opportunities for the whole city. Aliya is the idea maker along with Leo and Zac, Olly is the filmmaker, Liann the creative and Paisley becomes the entertainer after the friends discover the perfect song for her to play. Can the friends save the annex?
The friends decide to run a street fair to raise money for the new community center. Since it was his idea, Leo wants to lend a helping hand wherever he can, but can he be in three places at once?
When Aliya finds herself struggling to choose only one of her friends' many ideas for what should go inside the new community centre, she must find a different solution.
While trying to make the final preparations for the big opening of the community centre, the friends' plans are disrupted by the seniors' weekly Bocce game.
After hurting her ankle, Aliya tries to escape the nurse's office. Paisley and Olly must find a new performer for the community center opening ceremony.
Christmas arrives at Heartlake. Zac needs volunteers for a snowboarding competition, while Leo and Paisley hang decorations and cook at the restaurant.
Olly signs Ley-La up for larger, more demanding venues, forcing Paisley to adopt a style and identity that isn't representative of who she really is.
Autumn runs a Festival. Ben is unhappy to be there, but Autumn wins him over. Paisley performs as Ley-La, as her relationship with Olly suffers.
Aliyah, Nova, Autumn and Leo team-up in a science fair. The winning team’s idea will go to space! Aliya and Nova inadvertently tank their own project.
Liann explores her mystical self by selling good luck charms. Meanwhile, Leo struggles with a new bully and leans on his friends for support.
Aliya inadvertently excludes Autumn because of physical differences. With Nova’s help, Autumn decides to try a prosthetic.
Zac looks for a job. Autumn uses her prosthetic. Liann tries to figure out who Ley-La is. Olly pushes Paisley, and Zac encourages her to speak up.
Olly feels pressure. Paisley asks Zac for dance help. Aliya and Liann pose as reporters and find a key clue about Ley-La’s identity: her guitar pick.
The pressure is on for both Olly and Ley-La as she becomes even more of a music superstar
Paisley is fatigued by Olly's obsession with their fame. Zac confronts Olly, it's clear that he's wrapped up in fame and can't see what he's doing.
Zac seeks advice on how to court Sky. Paisley and Zac make a plan: Paisley will confront Olly, and Zac will tell Sky his feelings. Olly disappoints Paisley.
Andrea's "Battle of the Stars" competition begins. Paisley tells Olly to stop forcing her to be someone she isn't. Olly apologizes.
Autumn organizes a competition: the winner names a baby dolphin; Zac plays a clever prank and wins, but reveals he was teasing her the whole time.
After Liann and Nova devour Leo's final cooking assignment supplies, Leo has to use odd ingredients but makes surprisingly delicious dishes.
Aliya talks to a "new boy" whom she likes but things get hilariously awkward when Aliya discovers the boy is actually Pickle Boy!
In her struggle to protect tickets from grabby hands, Liann ends up giving them away; to make her feel better, Nova organizes a backyard movie night.
