Vegas Strip is an American documentary television series that shows the two of Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's units: the Homeland Security Saturation Team and the Convention Center Area Command as they patrol the Las Vegas Strip. Officers encounter disorderly conduct, drugs, and solicitation among other unique situations. The show is produced by Morgan Langley, co-creator of the popular show COPS. It premiered on July 17, 2011 on the cable network truTV.
When an apparently tanked tourist makes off with a pirate's sword, Sergeant Tom Jenkins (TJ) and the team take him down... the hard way. Plus, a couple of happy hookers get cited for trespassing by their arch nemesis, and things get personal when a suspect takes a knife to TJ's tires.
TJ and Co. intervene when a scuffle between two roommates breaks out on the Boulevard, a Vegas virgin gets bagged for allegedly buying drugs, only to find out later the goods were fake, and a suspicious character weaves a web of lies to keep cops from discovering his true identity.
It's stun gun time on the Strip when a vandal tries to outrun the law, a homeless man wagers his freedom by getting lippy with the cops, and TJ brings down the hammer when a group of apparently drunk and cranky Canadians refuse to obey his orders.
