In the mid seventies, Italian tennis players Panatta, Barazzutti, Bertolucci and Zugarelli and team captain Pietrangeli go on to win the first Davis Cup for Italy.
Four iconic players reflect on the struggles, triumphs, rivalries and controversies that made them legends of the tennis world in the 1970s.
1976, Davis Cup final. The champions Panatta, Barazzutti, Bertolucci and Zugarelli, captained by Pietrangeli, will leave for Pinochet's Chile.
Panatta wins in Rome and Roland Garros in '76. The following year Davis' Italy won against Spain. Monica Giorgi recounts an episode that occurred in apartheid South Africa.
