A suspicious accident puts a young oil rig worker in the hospital. Marina pulls Tom out of jail and places him undercover at the rig to find out what happened. As he and Marina close in on an elaborate oil investment scam, another accident sends their investigation in a new direction.
Claude assigns Marina to a private corporate espionage case - someone is stealing secrets from a local ski lift firm. Tom and Marina follow a trail of stolen garbage straight to a motel room full of secrets.
Marina sends Tom to infiltrate a politician's organization as a volunteer campaign worker.
Tom and Marina tumble into a messy case of corruption on a native reserve. To smoke out the criminals, they design the perfect sting - and convince Jack to pose as a dirty judge.
