The Comedy Annual is a British entertainment comedy series which first aired on ITV on 22 December 2010. Presented by Phillip Schofield, the show features various comedians who talk about the unusuall events of the past year. There have been two episodes, the first airing in 2010 and the second in 2011.
Some of the biggest names in British comedy - including Jason Manford, Jenny Eclair, Mark Watson and John Bishop - come together to take a look back at 2010 and deliver their verdict on the most brilliant, outrageous and infuriating moments of the year. From the volcanic ash cloud to vuvuzelas, no comedy stone will be left unturned.
Phillip Schofield is joined by some of the country's funniest men including Jason Manford, impressionist Alistair McGowan, Jason Byrne and Patrick Monahan to look back at some of the key moments from 2011. Expect a lively and amusing discussion as the comics offer their unique take on the year. Jason Manford is joined by an all-star cast of stand up comics to discuss the events of past the year. Subjects range from the Olympics, the Diamond Jubilee and the constant rain, to Gangnam Style and the Mobot. They talk about the best, the worst and strangest highlights of an eventful 12 months.
