Super Why! or The Reading Adventures of Super Why! is a CGI animated show developed by Angela C. Santomero and Samantha Freeman Alpert. The TV series is produced by New York City-based Out of the Blue Enterprises and Toronto-based DHX Media through its Decode Entertainment division. The show debuted on PBS stations on September 3, 2007. The series airs on PBS Kids and PBS Kids Sprout in the USA, Kids' CBC in Canada. Thai PBS from Thailand broadcasts the shortened version, the episodes are 5 years behind the U.S.
A hero-themed marathon in which the Super Readers fly into four stories and real-life kids discuss heroism. Included: "George and the Dragon," about a knight facing his fears; the classic "Little Red Riding Hood"; "The Swiss Family Robinson," about a family stranded on an island; and "Rapunzel," in which a princess stuck in a tower learns how to rescue herself.
With the help of their teacher, Whyatt and his friends have contacted a girl from another school over the computer, but they wonder where she lives. The super readers take a trip around the world with a wacky explorer name Wigglesbottom who is on the hunt for his friend Sophie.
Pig is trying to build blocks but every time he builds it, Jill keeps knocking it down. The Super Readers travel to the Three Little Pig story. They discuss the story and learns about friendship. Pig finally solved his problem with Jill.

Red wants to play with Little Boy Blue, but he keeps running away. The Super Readers travel into the Little Miss Muffet book and have discussions about the book.
There is a Sleeping Beauty's princess party. Red just can't fit in with the other princesses. How will she fit into the party? The Super Readers travel to the Cinderella story. They have discussions about the book. Red learns to be herself.
Pig goes on a picnic and is starving because he didn't think ahead to pack a snack. When the Super Readers fly into the story of The Ant and The Grasshopper, they see that the grasshopper is equally unprepared for winter, because he didn't plan ahead. With the help of the ant, both the grasshopper and Pig learn about forward thinking.

Red is practicing her soccer moves and kicking up dirt, when Grandma tells her it's time for lunch. Red gives her hands a quick rinse and gets ready to chow down, but Grandma says her hands aren't clean. The super readers zoom into the story Webby in Bathland and help a brave little penguin save his beloved town from the evil Squirmy Germies who are fighting down and dirty! Red finds out it takes more than water to wash away germs.
Baby Joy is afraid of the dark! To show her there's nothing to fear, Super Why and his literacy friends fly into Bedtime for Bear and meet Charlie - a bear who is scared of just about everything! The super readers shed a little light on the problem (literally) while Charlie discovers a bit more about the world outside his cozy cave.
The curtain rises on Princess Pea's dance recital but she's too scared to come out of the wings! Super Why and his friends head into the story Molly's Dance Show to meet a ballerina doll with similar stage fright. It's dinner time at Whyatt's house but things are not going well! He's perplexed when Mom and Dad say that what's on his plate isn't healthy. As the super readers convince King Eddie taste new foods, Whyatt learns there's more to dinner than he had originally thought!
Howdy Partner! Whyatt and his friends are playing cowboys, but Pig can't join in because he doesn't know what cowboys do. The super readers jump into the tale Jasper's Cowboy Wish and make the acquaintance of a cowpoke named Jasper who's desperate to become a rompin' stompin' cowboy if only he could get the hang of it! When Jasper must use his cowboy skills to save the day, will he be a hero...or will this be his last roundup?
ROAR! Pig invited his friends over to play dinosaurs, but Whyatt can't figure out which toy dinosaur he has. So he super readers soar into Baby Dino's Big Discovery where they lend a hand to a baby dinosaur searching for his mommy. They'll need to look closely to figure out what kind of dinosaur Baby Dino is...and be careful to avoid being eaten while they do!
Princess Pea is feeling dramatic (as usual) and she and Red are staging a play. Princess is pretending she's a queen but Red doesn't know what to be! The super readers fly into the story of a princess with a silly sense of humor and a big job to do. They help Gwennie use her talents to save the day, and Red discovers her own special gifts.

And a 1, and a 2 and a 1, 2, 3! The kids are playing in the school band, but Red doesn't know what instrument to play!
