SRAM is an adaptation of the original Norwegian teen drama series SKAM from 2015, which explores themes of adolescents' emotional development through the lens of social realism.
Through the character of 16-year-old Eva, her boyfriend Jakov and their mutual friends and rivals, the first season explores universal themes present in teenage teenage life: love, friendship, sexuality, social status and acceptance, and also touches on the problems of mental health of young people.
After her boyfriend Jakov and her friend Lovro declined to attend a party, Eva goes alone. At the party, she confronts her former friend Sara. After a failed attempt to reconcile her friendship with Sara, Eva meets Nora, Tina and Nika.
Eva and Jakov spend the weekend at a vacation house, but Eva is unhappy that Jakov invited Lovro to join them.
Eva gets close with Nora, Tina and Nika as she invites them to a party at her house. A new girl, Vanessa, joins the squad.
The girls go to Nikola's birthday party in order to attempt to get close to the popular boys at the school. Vanessa tells Eva to break up with Jakov and hook up with Nikola, given that Nikola seem to be interested in her.
As Tina wants to sleep with Roko, the girls visit a gynecologist to get information on safe sex. Meanwhile, Eva arranges a dinner to introduce Jakov to her mom.
Suspecting that Jakov is seeing Sara again, Eva decides to talk to Lovro. At a party, Nikola wants to make Eva feel better.
Eva and Jakov reconcile. At school, Tina confronts Roko about him ignoring her, and Nora stands in Tina's defense. Ines finds out that Nikola cheated on her.
Jakov breaks up with Eva, and she unsuccessfully keeps trying to reconcile with him. Eva is bullied and slut-shamed by other students, which leads to her quarrels with her mom and Tina. She, however, reconciles with Sara. Meanwhile, Roko keeps hitting on Nora, who is uninterested.
Jakov and Eva are on friendly terms, as they're trying to help Lovro whose parents are divorcing. Tina is still alienated from Eva and the rest of the group. Ines, having broken up with Nikola, invites Eva to a Christmas party, as she wants to apologize for her actions. At the party, Eva confronts Lovro who tells her he told Ines about her and Nikola's kiss. Eva and the group help Tina after finding her unconscious in front of Ines' place.
The girls visit the gynecologist again after Tina has a pregnancy scare, and the gynecologist warns her about her unhealthy diet. Roko continues to hit on the uninterested Nora. Eva interrogates Lovro about why he betrayed her trust. She meets up with Jakov at her place to break up with him for good, but only after losing her virginity to him. At a Christmas market, Roko awkwardly apologizes to Tina, while Nora discovers a gay dating app on Lovro's phone.
The second season of the series "SRAM" follows the love drama of Nora, who struggles to understand and accept her feelings for Roko.
While attending the opening of a new bar in the city, Nora, Eva, Nika, and Vanessa discover that Roko helped Tina land a job as the bar’s hostess. Nora confronts Roko, arguing that the job is demeaning, but Roko remains insistent on pursuing a date with her. While the girls are hanging out at Nora's house, Tina wants to leave for Roko's party. Nora texts Roko asking him to stop contacting Tina, hinting she might agree to a date with him in return.
Eva is inspired to revive her dating life, and Nora tells her about her date, but doesn't reveal it is with Roko. Tina wonders if Nora is a lesbian because of her perceived misandry and feminism. Eva has cold feet about her date, and Nora lies to Tina that she can't go with Eva because she has to tutor a younger student. Vito figures out that she has a date; Roko picks her up but the atmosphere between the two is cold. Nora blames him for manipulating and taking advantage of Tina; Roko retorts that he only apologized to Tina because Nora asked him to, and not to give Tina hope that they will reconcile, and also that he found a hosting job for her purely because she needed a job. Nora refuses Roko's ride home and arrives to her place where she finds the drunken Vito, Tina and Eva, whose date fell through. Tina notices that Nora wore perfume to her tutoring class, which Vito points out was held at Friday night.
Although Nora had planned to skip Roko’s party, she decides to go after Eva tells her that Tina embarrassed herself by flirting with Roko and left in tears after being rejected. When the police shut down the party and someone mistakenly takes Nora’s jacket—with her phone and keys inside—she is stuck at Roko’s house. Nora contacts Vito through Roko’s Instagram, then spends time with Roko playing his synthesizer. That night, Roko offers Nora his bed and sleeps on the couch, but after beer is found spilled on it, Nora invites him to share the bed.
While preparing clothes to donate to an orphanage, Eva and Nora receive an invite to a party organized by Roko’s friend group. Nora is reluctant to go because the entrance fee is meant to fund a microscope that Nikola allegedly broke. To convince her, Roko persuades Nikola to donate part of the money to orphans. At the party, Nora hides her feelings for Roko, while Eva gets drunk, kisses Tina in front of Nikola, and causes a scene. After an argument, Nora and Roko end up kissing.
After a party, Nora and Roko spend the morning together, but she refuses sex. Roko’s brother interrupts, and Nora leaves feeling humiliated. He later apologizes, but Nora remains unsure about their relationship. Vito shares that his mother cut contact after he came out; Tina still struggles with her eating disorder. During Norijada, Tina spreads gossip about Roko and his brother’s promiscuity. Nora, hurt by a drunk text from Roko, opens up about feeling unloved, and Roko shares his grief over his sister. They kiss, then see Nikola and Lovro together.
Nora and Roko follow each other on Instagram, while she and Eva ask Vito to find out if Nikola is gay—he agrees. With Eva’s help, Nora and Roko keep their situationship secret from Tina. Nora tries, and fails, to tell Tina the truth before and during the seniors' coupe pre-party, where a fight erupts between Roko, Nikola, Lovro, their friends, and party crashers. Roko hits one of them with a glass bottle.
Nora confronts Roko about the bottle smashing from the party. He justifies his actions, saying that he would go to any lengths to protect those he cares about. Nora asks for space, needing time to process his unexpected violent nature. At school, Nora and Vanessa discuss the fight. Vanessa discloses she figured out Nora and Roko by herself; she defends Roko by pointing out the party crashers' racism, and questions why Nora and Roko's differences are an issue. Eva reveals the fight was about molly. By Vanessa's encouragement, Nora finally talks to Tina about Roko. To Nora's surprise, Tina reveals she has known about them since their first kiss and asks Nora if she is in love with Roko. Nora professes she is; Tina gives them her blessing.
Nora wakes up next to Roko, who says he waited for her, and later learns from friends that she got drunk at Sven's party and was taken home in a taxi. At Sljeme, Sven shows her disturbing photos from that night and refuses to delete them, prompting Nora to flee into the forest and have a panic attack. After spiraling and seeking medical help, both her doctor and friend Eva suspect she was drugged with GHB and urge her to speak to Roko, assuring her it wasn’t her fault.
Nora confronts Sven about the photos and records their conversation. Sven posts one of Nora's photos online, leading Roko to believe she cheated. He decides to leave Zagreb, and despite Nora's plea, he drives away after learning the truth.
Petra calls Nora in panic-Roko beat up Sven and both got arrested. Roko tells Nora to stay away, then ignores her. Tina encourages Nora to fight for Roko; she then attempts to stop Roko from leaving for Amsterdam.
Lovro, torn between other people's expectations and his own dilemmas, develops a relationship that forces him to question who he is and how willing he is to be honest with himself and those around him.
While celebrating New Year, Lovro meets Ema and they start dating. He invites her to hang out with Jakov and the girls, as the squad prepares a welcoming party for Nora and Roko, who are expected to return from Amsterdam. Lovro starts to show his insecurities while dating Ema.
After dreaming about Ivan, Lovro learns that Tina has invited him to a karaoke party. Tina insists that Lovro and the boys attend in exchange for the weed Lovro left behind the other night. Ivan invites Lovro to his place.
Lovro faces a slur at PE, stays at Nora's, hears Vito argue with his boyfriend, and reconnects with Ema. At his party, he and Ivan exchange looks. Later, decorating a tossed tree, Ivan tries to kiss him, but Lovro pulls away.
Lovro tries reaching Ivan, who ignores him. Lovro introduces Ema to his mum. After an escape room hangout, Sonja sets up a double date. On the date, Ivan and Lovro sneak off, break into a pool, and kiss underwater.
Lovro grows closer to Ivan, sharing kisses and confessions while ignoring Ema. Vito questions him, and Lovro's internalized homophobia strains things. After Sonja finds the messages, Ivan pulls away and Ema breaks up with Lovro.
Lovro ignores Ivan for telling Sonja about their relationship. Nora returns upset from Amsterdam, and Lovro, Eva and Masa comfort her. Ema reassures Lovro and keeps his secret. Next day, encouraged by her, he comes out to Jakov.
Lovro pushes away his mother but opens up to Vito, who shares his story and takes him to a ballroom night. Rumors spread about Lovro and Ivan; Ivan ends things with Sonja.
Lovro grows closer to Ivan but struggles with public affection, loses Filip over homophobia, comes out to his mum, and faces school drama before another argument with Ivan that ends with Ivan streaking through the streets.
Ivan's suspected bipolar disorder worries Lovro, who confides in friends. Sonja calls Lovro over to Ivan's place, where she tells him that he has gone missing.
Lovro wakes with Ivan on his birthday. Lovro and Ivan kiss in public for the first time. At Ema's exhibition, Mario talks to Tina, Jakov gives Eva his camera, and Vanessa reads their palms before taking the camera home.
