The third season brings even more mystery, exciting plots, and power struggles, set in the turbulent period before World War II, where the fates of the characters intertwine between politics, secrets, and inexplicable events.

The year is 1938. While Europe dances on the edge of the abyss, a dangerous web is woven in Belgrade around the ratification of the Concordat. Count Ciano and Milan Stojadinović shape the fate of the Balkans, unaware that in eastern Serbia, at the foot of mystical Rtanj, a wrath is awakening that threatens to set the country on fire. Horrific events in an isolated monastery become weapons in the hands of powerful figures from the "Conspiracy," an organization led by Zlata Mirić and the mysterious Prizrenac, which announces the end of the old order. Amidst the turmoil, the Minh family, owners of the Rtanj mines, try to preserve their property and peace, but upcoming conspiracies pull them into the center of a conflict they cannot control. While secret societies and conspirators mobilize in Belgrade's corridors, Tane fights his own ghosts, waiting for the return of the only man he trusts - Stanko Pletikosić. Stanko is released from prison into a world he no longer recognizes.

Belgrade is shaken by the news of the death of Julius Minh, the owner of the mines on Rtanj. Although the scene in hotel "Moskva" suggests suicide, Tane and young Čeda Diklić suspect that the hanging is only a bloody performance. Lavrentiy Beria sends Mustafa Golubić on his most dangerous mission yet—a return to Belgrade. In a world where no one trusts anyone, even within the Party, Mustafa must track down a mysterious group of conspirators supported by foreign powers. At the same time, in Paris, Josip Broz Tito awaits news from Moscow regarding his appointment as General Secretary of the KPJ and meets Maja Davidović. The recently released Stanko Pletikosić joins the investigation, almost against his will, realizing that in the four years of his absence the city has changed, but the atrocities have remained the same.

While debts to Danilo Tomasović are paid in blood in the port of Rijeka, Belgrade becomes the scene of a brutal struggle for supremacy. Stanko Pletikosić, in search of answers and through cooperation with Krojač, arrives at discoveries that will change the power dynamics in the Belgrade underworld. After the death of the man suspected of murdering Julius Minh, Tane and Čeda's investigation hits a wall. At the same time, in the relationship between Zlata Mirić and Mustafa Golubić, passion and espionage intertwine in a dangerous dance, while Mustafa slowly gains the trust of the conspirators. Tane, haunted by visions and exhausted by the investigation, seeks help from Vanuca, who takes him to the edge between reality and nightmare, where he will have to face the images from the past that haunt him.

Stanko's investigation leads to the discovery that "Rtanj cheese" is only a front for the distribution of a drug that changes the rules of the game in the Belgrade underworld. Stanko must use all his shrewdness to outsmart his enemies, as well as Tomasović, in order to find out who is behind the new goods on the market, while slowly taking over Krojač's place in Jatagan Mala. Tane finds himself in a state of complete breakdown. While visions from the Rtanj tunnels mix with images of political chaos in Belgrade, he realizes that the appearance of new heroin and the mystical ore from the mine are part of the same dark puzzle. On the edge of madness, Tane tries to warn Stanko that the enemy is not only on the street but also in what they cannot see.

Tane, devastated by a new murder, goes with Čeda in search of Dido de Mayo. Marija Oršić arrives in Belgrade, interested in the Minh mine, when we also discover who the new leader of the Belgrade Thule is. Tito tries to find out why Maja Davidović helped him, while Mustafa Golubić further complicates the situation of Prime Minister Stojadinović with an assassination. Although Tomasović is slowly losing patience while trying to understand who is behind the new heroin smuggling operation, Stanko is slowly connecting things and—with Kiro's release from prison—decides on new steps.

Tane wakes up in the hospital; Stanko offers him help to find the people responsible for the murders, as well as for what happened to Čeda. However, after the incident with Simeon, Tane finds out in Glavnjača that his hands are tied and that he will have to solve the case outside the law. With Stanko's help, on the street, Tane arrives at answers he could not reach through a police investigation. Mustafa meets with a foreign agent in Bulgaria, after which the direction of "The Conspiracy" changes abruptly. Tito, after learning what is in the Minh mine, comes to Belgrade and takes steps together with Maja Davidović so that the mine does not fall into the wrong hands; however, he loses Bojana's trust.

After the murder of a high-ranking government official, Prizrenac continues to scheme in order to succeed in hiding the secret about the mine from all interested parties, but fails to prevent Maja Davidović from taking an important step toward purchasing the mine. Tane tries to find out from Madam who she made the forgeries for, and then makes a deal with Stanko that could completely change the situation, both in the political leadership and on the street. Bojana is torn between Tito and Mustafa, although she is slowly losing the trust of both. While Tomasović's paranoia grows after the murder in the club, Stanko decides on a dangerous double game.

A large fire in Jatagan Mala further complicates the situation on the street, and Tomasović makes even more enemies for himself with ruthless actions. Stanko manages to win the favor of Simeon Draškić on Rtanj. Tane forms an alliance with Mustafa in order to uncover Prizrenac and prevent the sale of the Minh mine. Tane arranges a meeting between Maja Davidović and Mustafa Golubić, while Marija Oršić and the Thule are getting closer to achieving their goals, as pressure on Prime Minister Stojadinović grows.

Faced with a great loss, Tane discovers who Prizrenac is and comes one step away from proving it. However, after Madam makes a great sacrifice for her son, Tane and Stanko realize that the fate of the mine, the street, and ultimately all of Yugoslavia, will have to be resolved through a major conflict on the street. All actors, willingly or unwillingly, will have to face each other, after which the truth will finally come to light, and the future of Yugoslavia will be decided.
