Based on the popular strategy game, Minato has become the new president of the Kibou Company. In order to be a good president and help the company grow, he must lead his party of adventurers through the Gate and collect Kirakuri — a type of energy that is extremely valuable and fundamental to the city of Gatepia. However, there are other companies vying for the chance to gather the Kirakuri.
In a world where businesses make bank through dungeons and battles, Minato is thrown in charge of a small company by his childhood friend-turned-secretary.
Kibou Company is strapped for cash and their only hope gathers dust in a museum. In order to get it, they'll have to go for broke and compete in a taxing contest.
While delving deeper into the dungeon and racing onwards towards their goal, Kibou Company encounters the unexpected and must fight to reach the finish.
An arrogant, little wizard by the name of Marika discovers a map which entices the crew on a treasure hunt in search of the most precious treasure of all.
President Minato visits Marika to fetch a form, but then everything goes amiss. There's trouble brewing in Gatepia and it has already claimed a first victim.
Kibou Company explores the strange, new dungeon in hopes of earning enough to obtain the old man's legacy. However, it's a trial for them in more ways than one.
