4 Yeshiva students who don't entirely fit in to their own world, although they try, find themselves at odds with their rabbi, their parents, and their matchmaker.
Gedalia moves into Room 17 and takes a trip around Jerusalem with the others in search of an espresso capsule. After getting into trouble during a football game at Sacher Park, he decides to remain in that room. The yeshiva's board decides to appoint a new head of yeshiva.
Shpitzer, the new head of yeshiva, decides to block the yeshiva's cellular reception. Shira asks Avinoam to help her with her studies. Meir goes out on a date with a highly regarded girl he was set up with. He fires his matchmaker and tries to get accepted by Shlomi Zacks, an elite matchmaker.
Rabbi Shpitzer continues to bully the yeshiva students, but they do not give up easily. Rabbi Bloch confronts Rabbi Spitzer. Avinoam grows closer to Shira and now stands at a crossroads. Dov brings Gedalia along to a meeting with his sister, Devorah.
On their way on a trip up north, Gedalia reveals what happened to the article he wrote. Dov gets into trouble in a minefield and is now waiting for the help of the army, and when they arrive, an ideology begins to float. Together, the four Shababniks face an unexpected adventure.
A donor couple that is important to the yeshiva's future is hosted by Rabbi Bloch. As the donor couple tours the yeshiva, the four Shababniks show them sides they weren't aware of. Rabbi Bloch gives Meir some bad news.
Meir is kicked out of the yeshiva and now needs to face his father. The war between the four guys and Rabbi Bloch gains momentum. Avinoam leads a general war at the yeshiva, and all the students are entering into struggle and internal politics.
The four Shababniks host Devorah, Shira, and Ruth for Sabbath dinner. Meir is angry at Dov because Dov is interfering with his efforts to pursue Ruth. What is allowed, what is forbidden, and what goes beyond the bounds of good taste?
Avinoam, Dov, and Gedalia go out to Tel Aviv, where they meet actor Yehuda Levi, who wants to get to know them better. But the city is not doing any good for Gedalia and is bringing him to an edge. Meanwhile, Meir is doing everything he can to meet Ruth.
When the four Shababniks discover that the new view from their room is an immodest billboard, Gedalia and Meir ask Rabbi Hajbi for advice on what action to take. Meanwhile, Avinoam is invited by Shira to an exhibit at the Bezalel Academy of Arts in Jerusalem.
Three detectives show up at the yeshiva to investigate the burning of the billboard. Meir, Gedalia, Avinoam, and Dov are at the center of the investigation, which destabilizes their relationship.
At the yeshiva, preparations are underway to watch the Maccabi Tel Aviv basketball game, while Rabbi Bloch fumes about this as he wants them to attend his father's memorial service instead of the game. Gedalia makes a decision about Devorah.
The yeshiva students are furious at Rabbi Shpitzer and demand that he return Rabbi Bloch to the yeshiva immediately. Rabbi Shpitzer wants to go to a Kabbalist mediator with the four Shababniks. Gedalia realizes he has significant feelings for Devorah.
After getting kicked out of yeshiva, the three Shababniks try to make it big in the world, besides Gedalia, who moved to a far-off yeshiva in the south of Israel and is preparing for the most important test of his entire life: the rabbinate.
The Shababniks decide to start a yeshiva and try to convince Gedalia to join and head it, but he refuses because of its location on the most secular street in Jerusalem. To be convinced, he gives the guys complex conditions that they have to meet for him to join in.
The guys adjust to the new yeshiva and open up to new worlds that are revealed to them from the secular yeshiva. Shlomi explains to Meir that he has no chance of marrying Ruth, while Gedalia makes a horrible mistake in his relationship with Devorah.
The new yeshiva begins to take shape. Motti, Devorah and Lazer's father, comes to Israel to meet Gedalia, his prospective son-in-law. Gedalia begins to realize the honey trap in which he's entangled. And Motti discovers that Dov is doing all sorts of things without his consent.
Gedalia finds a television in the yeshiva apartment and threatens: "Either it or me." The Shababniks get rid of it, sparking unexpected friction with the secular yeshiva. Devorah tells Gedalia she's decided to take the rabbinate test, and he reacts in the only way he knows.
Each in his own way, Gedalia, Avinoam, and Lazer must face the elephant in the room: sex. For the first time, Meir meets Ruth with her arm missing, and it just confuses him even more. Dov understands that he has to make money and does private lessons for a young boy, and thanks to that, he meets Avigail.
The financial state of New Hebron Yeshiva is in bad shape. But then Tapiro and Trablesi, who too were thrown out of the yeshiva where they studied, became interested in joining and paying monthly tuition. At the same time, the guys find out that the neighbors are suing them.
To Avinoam's dismay, Tapiro and Trablesi become an integral part of the yeshiva and even manage to get everyone to take part in the "nine-minute ritual," which manages to interest the students from the secular yeshiva and at the same time annoy the four guys.
Avinoam goes out on a real date but keeps thinking about Eden. Lazer goes to Tel Aviv with Avigail for a crucial date. Meir confesses to his father about changing his last name, and Gedalia has been healed thanks to Nechama, who seems to like him.
New Hebron Yeshiva gets a bad reputation on the ultra-orthodox street, so they try to save it by taking part in the Shteiglitz contest on Sabbath laws. A win or loss in the contest will decide the future of the yeshiva, and everyone is prepared.
Gedalia is "possessed" by singer Shlomo Artzi. This thing leads him on a crazy adventure, which affects, among other things, his relationship with Devorah. Dov and Avigail get closer, and Dov finds himself in an internal and forbidden conflict.
The yeshiva is growing and full of students, who discover, among other things, that next to them is a secular yeshiva with major temptations. Gedalia gives advice to a yeshiva student. Lazer decides to fulfill his fantasy and sleep with Avigail.
A present-day version of the Talmudic Kamzta and Bar-Kamzta tale. Tapiro and Keshet find a common language that leads to an awful mistake. Zacks tries to convince Dov of a new match while discovering that he is already in an existing relationship.
Purim at the yeshiva becomes a battlefield when a chain of events pits everyone against each other. Gedaliah refuses to accept the fact that Deborah is interested in reading the Purim scroll, and Avinoam understands that there are gaps between him and Eden.
Avinoam and Gedalia's video from Purim becomes a viral hit. Avinoam's father makes him a tempting offer he's been dreaming of his whole life, but accepting it means betraying his principles and friends. Meir finds out why Ruth did not respond to messages.
The trial begins. Avinoam represents New Hebron at a municipal hearing against the residents of the street and the secular yeshiva. Now, it feels like war. But then the hearing takes an unexpected turn that affects everything and everyone.
