Josh and Melissa are a struggling couple whose lives are transformed when they get trapped in a magical musical town—with a mission they must complete.
In this parody of 1940s musicals, backpacking couple Melissa and Josh get trapped in Schmigadoon, a magical town filled with singing and dancing townspeople, and learn they can't leave without finding true love—which they thought they already had.
Josh and Melissa miss the magic they felt in Schmigadoon and in an attempt to return, find themselves in Schmicago—the reimagined world of '60s and '70s musicals.
