Belfast-set comedy series about best mates and colleagues, Catholic Tommy and protestant Dougy, who own and run the Safe And Sound garage.
Opposition to a marriage between a Protestant and a Catholic threatens the course of true love.
Dougy is thinking in terms of big business and wants to expand the garage, but his overworked partner Tommy has doubts about the plan.
Dougy gives Eleanor a little dog as a token of his love. Sadly, the dog spells trouble for him, although it may be a blessing in disguise for Tommy.
Dougy decides that life as an executive is puttinga strain on his heart, but Tommy is not convinced.
Tommy tries to set a good example for a young lad who has lost his own father
