Poromafia is a crime saga tinged with black humor, centered on the internal power struggle of a family ruling the northern wilderness. The northern matriarch leaves behind an inheritance, which divides the family's lands among the family. However, the wills tear the family apart as buried secrets come to light.
Sameli Nelihanka returns home for her mother's funeral. He has to face his father Rouku Nelihanga and his former lover, Sara Poikkipää, whose father's murder Sameli was in prison for.
Sara Poikkipää inherits her father's lands from Brita Nelihanga. Sara finds out that Pieti Nelihanka is her half-brother. Rouku tries to destroy the fulfillment of the will and Brita's will.
Samel and Aghmo's debts are growing and the only option is to borrow money from Stagge, the leader of the underworld of the ice sea port.
