A middle-aged man with only one passion in his life meets a fitting end in a traffic accident. That's where most stories would end, but instead, this is when his story begins when he's reborn as what he admired the most in life--a vending machine! But his new lease on life happens in the worst place possible--what can a vending machine do in a monster-infested dungeon when he can't speak or even move on his own?
After his untimely death, our unlikely hero finds himself in another world, reincarnated as a vending machine. Now his life revolves around selling things to people, but he's stuck in the middle of nowhere with no sign of any customers.
The Hunters Association hires Lammis and Boxxo to provide food during a frog fiend hunt, with a ragtag group acting as their bodyguards. But things turn ominous when the fiends prove to be more numerous than expected.
The expedition returns to find the village has been attacked, but fortunately the damage is limited. Boxxo and Lammis discover they both have plenty of ways to help during the recovery effort.
A gang of thieves carts Boxxo away so they can extract his money, but the real surprise turns out to be the individual who's supposed to figure out how to pull off the theft.
Boxxo is already well known throughout the village for the items he's sold to date, and now he begins to find new ways to assist various residents with their problems.
