Powder is an Indian crime television series which first aired on Sony TV January 3, 2010 and ran for one season. The story is of the new scenario in substance abuse - a generation embracing drugs. Powder an insight of the durg lord, Naved Ansari, and an honest team of Narotics Control Bureau led by Usmaan Malik IRS who plans to nab Ansari before he can hoodwink the system into letting him go scott free.
A drug kingpin's younger brother is arrested by the police. Now, the NCB intends to go after the main guy.
Ansari plans to shift to Karachi. Meanwhile, problems arise due to the difference in opinions of Brinda and Mahendra.
All the perpetrators caught by the NCB are granted bail. NCB chief asks Usmaan to let Naved go for now and get more petty arrests to boost their numbers. Problems between Brinda and Mahendra continue.
Brinda gets tipped off about Naved's new shipment and NCB tries to inflict as much damage as possible.

Brinda continues pursuing the case of Jagat Tripathi's murder and its connection with drug smuggling. Usmaan tries to convince his boss to nab Ansari before its too late.
Brinda and Mahendra are on their way to Chamba to nab Raja. Ansari wants to get out of the country as soon as possible. Usmaan and Kartik come across an angry mob while arresting a criminal.
Mahendra and Brinda gather information about drug trade in Chamba. Usmaan takes a reluctant drug addict to a rehabilitation center. Karthik is given a tip about a huge drug cartel in Rajasthan.
Ansari makes plans for the future of his drug empire and makes sure that Wasim can work in his lieu. Brinda and Mahendra continue their work in Chamba. Raghav, a rival of Ansari, is released from jail after a long time.
Mahendra and Brinda try to nab Raja but find that he's holding two hostages and plan to free them and also arrest him.
Wasim asks Rati to marry him. Naved's drugs are stolen from his warehouse and his boss in Dubai negates his initial offer to shift to Dubai.
NCB and DRI are trying to get Ansari at Wasim's wedding. Brinda is still bummed out as she is being kept out of this.
ANC, NCB and DRI are all getting closer to Ansari. Brinda is arresting a lot of people in Rajasthan who are part of a drug cartel.
Usmaan is frustrated that DRI and ANC are doing better than them in the Ansari investigation. DRI is following Ansari's money trail. Brinda asks for Mahendra's help with nabbing a drug-related chemical manufacturing company.
NCB surveils Ansari very closely after he returns from Burma. Brinda comes back to office. Mahendra tries to sort out his issues with Kartik.
NCB and ANC try to seize Ansari's drug consignment in a joint operation. DRI joins in but separately. Ansari is monitoring the shipment as well as each and every movement of all these organisations and is still not cancelling the shipment. What's his plan?
After Kartik's death, everyone is devastated. They try to find inconsistencies in the facts of the demolition of the building that was supposed to be the cause of Kartik's death.
A new officer joins NCB. Mahendra thinks Raja killed Kartik and wants to take revenge. Brinda stops him and makes him join her and her former acquaintance in a fight against drugs and Kartik's killers. Jagdale may also join them.
Ashwini is pissed as DRI handed over all their investigation to NCB. The new hire, Shiven, finds a breakthrough in the case. Usmaan adds Brinda, not Mahendra, to the Ansari taskforce. Jagdale pretends to show interest in a bribe from Dayal.
DRI approaches minister Jagat Tripathi to get Ansari's case from NCB. Raghav offers to become a witness against Ansari. Mahendra and Jagdale play their own cards in order to bring down Ansari.
NCB finds the guy who killed Rajesh. That guy named Raja as the person who hired him and so NCB is going to arrest him. Ansari comes to know about this and asks Wasim to get Raja killed, which he agrees to.
Rati comes to know about her brother's death but doesn't say anything during interrogation. Shiven returns as an injured hero. Everybody at NCB is disappointed as Ansari has escaped the country.
Dayal finds out that the money he gave to Jagdale has come back to him. Ansari and Dayal set up a trap in order to figure out what exactly is happening. Ashwini asks Bose to contact RAW and ask them for a favor.
Jagdale is arrested on anti-corruption charges. Brinda informs NCB about Mahendra's drug deal. Brinda asks for Ashwini's help to transport Mahendra after he's arrested.
Wasim intends to flee to Bangkok. Ansari's partners think that Wasim has got something to do with all the NCB's raids. Vigilance department issued a summon for Brinda as she was seen helping Mahendra escape.
