Persuaded by the family patriarch, the Shastris come together for weekly Potluck meals, albeit reluctantly. Set in upper-middle-class Mumbai, each episode is a comical potpourri of opinions, conflicts, dilemmas and unsaid assumptions as the Shastri's try hard to believe, “the family that eats together, stays together.” But do they really?
Meet the Shastris as they try to come together for yet another POTLUCK at Dhruv and Nidhi’s lavish new home. Vikrant begins to realize the need for a bigger place for his family, while Govind is in for a surprise when he buys a TV for Dhruv’s new home as a housewarming gift.
Vikrant and Akansha play hosts in the next Potluck. Vikrant’s search for a new home leads to tension not just with Akansha, but also between Nidhi and Dhruv. Govind and Pramila play cupid for Prerna, with unexpected results.
Govind and Pramila’s anniversary costume party brings out the best and the worst in the Shastri's. Pramila is hurt to hear what her children think of her. Prerna and Aalim explore their newfound connection, while Vikrant and Dhruv try to “manage” their better halves.
The Shastri siblings reminiscence on exactly how and why this ‘Potluck’ started. Govind connects with a long-lost friend and reveals how he got the family to agree to the Potluck.
Nidhi attempts to host the Potluck alone, but it isn’t going as per plan. Dhruv accidentally stumbles into some unexpected people on his work trip, while Akansha and Vikrant try to revive their romance.
Prerna uses the weekly Potluck to stage a meet-the-folks with Aalim. But Pramila and Govind react in different extremes, while Nidhi stays upset with Dhruv about his big lie. But Dhruv isn’t the only one lying… or the only one getting caught.
Vikrant and Akansha are feeling nostalgic as they are packing to shift into their new house. Dhruv is caught in a web of lies that now is hampering his well-being. Govind takes on the cooking responsibilities for the day, but the distasteful food at the Potluck is the least of his worries.
Everyone is shocked once they know the truth. It takes an accident to bring the entire family together and face each other again.
A brand new dimension of their lives comes forth in the depths of Shastri Savannah. The Shastris are in for a few surprises, Pramila's surprise being one.
The boys come together to cheer up Dhruv while the girls are on a day out. Govind is excited to support Pramila in her decision when she doesn't seem too excited about it. Dhruv finally breaks the news to his father, and surprisingly, Govind takes it rather well.
Nidhi helps Prerna with her surprise for Aalim, and Govind supports Dhruv in his crisis. Aalim introduces Jacob to help Pramila. Akansha uses Vikrant's secret trick to make friends at work. All the Shastris pitch in to help one another.
With Jacob helping Pramila, Govind gets a little jealous. Aalim confronts Prerna, which leads to a showdown. Dhruv comes in and swoops Vikrant's moment to be a Super Dad. Meanwhile, Nidhi receives the news of an unexpected guest.
All hell breaks loose as the Shastris are divided over Pramila's newfound passion. Nidhi has a difficult time accepting her mother's personal transformation. Akansha is not happy at work while Dhruv realizes his true calling.
The family celebrates Govind and Pramila's anniversary and comes together for a potluck like no other. Nidhi starts to accept her mother's new avatar. Prerna tries to make amends with Aalim as she realizes her mistake.
Vikrant and Akansha plan to dodge their parental duties for a well-deserved alone time. Dhruv takes help from Govind for his new business plan but things go sideways. Nidhi finds a new hobby and asks Prerna to help.
The Shastri family is at the finale of the grand event. However, like always, nothing goes smoothly when it comes to the Shastris. Despite hurdles, Pramila shows that she is a winner and her entire family comes together as one. But Aalim gets the prize of his life.
