The series follows the lives of a team of paramedics and emergency medical technicians with the North Area Ambulance Service, facing life and death situations in the fictional city of Matherton.
A violent tornado strikes a small Texas town. Four devastated families begin picking up the pieces in the aftermath of this life-altering event.
One family must tear down the rest of the house that the tornado left behind before they can rebuild. Another family struggles to keep the peace in their rental home as progress is made on rebuilding their own home.
