Episode 2 dives into one of the most unexpected emotions new parents face - the fear of missing out. As Kunal steps back into office life after his paternity leave is over, he realizes that his professional world is moving on without him… and so are some of his baby’s tiny milestones. Back home, Shreya spends her first full day alone with the baby, juggling feeds, naps, and a sudden wave of longing for her “old life.”
Episode 3 tackles another surprise curveball of early parenthood. With her parents away, Shreya steps into the society-park new-mom circle where compliments come wrapped in unsolicited advice, and tiny remarks snowball into big body-image worries. Meanwhile, Kunal attempts a sweet-but-clumsy “romance comeback” that lands hilariously off-mark.
Episode 4 tackles the first real crack in Shreya and Kunal’s “perfect parent” façade. As a brutal streak of sleep-regression nights wears them down, a tiny disagreement about “who is doing more” suddenly explodes into their first proper fight. As fatigue blurs patience and emotions bubble up, an unexpected voice of wisdom nudges Shreya and Kunal to rethink what kind of parents (and partners) they want to be.
Episode 5 explores the delicate balance Shreya and Kunal are struggling to hold between ambition and responsibility, identity and parenthood. At Manasi’s bachelorette, Shreya is torn between the freedom she once knew and the guilt that now shadows it, while Kunal faces a career-defining opportunity that demands clarity he isn’t sure he has.
