Reality-show talent contest aimed to find the country's next solo singing sensation, putting a selection of hopefuls through their paces by getting them to sing a variety of cover versions of popular songs, with tutoring from various professionals.
This is the eighth series of Spanish reality TV show Operación Triunfo. It was presented by Pilar Rubio The first program was broadcast on 16 January 2011 with the final on 20 February 2011, thus a considerably shorter run than the earlier series. the series was won by Nahuel Sachak.
In the first episode about the casting of OT2023 we will see a summary with unpublished material of the first two phases of the casting and part of the final casting tests that took place in Barcelona the first week of October and to which 105 applicants arrived.
In the second installment about the OT23 castings we will meet the candidates selected after the first two days of testing. His last solo performance before the jury will be key to getting one of the 18 places in Gala 0.
