Meet the Barkers is a reality television series that was aired on MTV. The series followed the everyday life of married couple, Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker, his wife Shanna Moakler, and their three children. Meet the Barkers lasted two seasons, airing 16 episodes. In 2008, MuchMusic started airing Meet the Barkers after Barker's involvement with the 2008 South Carolina Learjet 60 crash, along with the late DJ AM, making Barker the only living survivor of the crash.
While Travis is out on tour, Shanna is left to oversee the move into their brand new house.

Travis and Shanna have been married for about a year. Travis goes onto tour while Shanna is at home. She finds out the sex of the baby is a girl. Shanna surprises him with a bathroom full of pink balloons!!
Travis attends the MAGIC trade show in Las Vegas to represent the clothing line he runs with Shanna, Famous Stars and Straps. When Shanna has to pick Travis up at the airport, she realizes that their BMW is in the shop, so she'll have to use Travis' prized Cadillac instead. She doesn't want to the drive the car as it is, and having a tire blow out on the highway doesn't help. Luckily, she gets a spare put on, but Travis isn't exactly thrilled when she picks him up. Shanna makes it up to him later, though. Travis is turning 30, and she wants to think of something fantastic to blow him away. She decides to throw him a giant surprise birthday party, complete with all of his friends, a drum line, and best of all, a brand new gold Cadillac.
Travis shoots his Boost Mobile phone commercial and Shanna produces a sitcom.
The Barkers bid on a Christmas tree at a silent auction, but when the decorations arrive, they come with a price tag of $10,000.
All hell breaks loose when the children's new custom furniture arrives, and is totally unacceptable to Shanna. Landon's bed has pink paint on it and she's fearful that Travis won't think it looks tough enough. Finally the furniture store agrees to come to the house and paint over the pink. Meanwhile, Travis is busy signing the paperwork for his new studio. After that, he and the guys pick out some rad furniture and hook the place up. Shanna cooks a nice meal and the couple finally enjoy some peace and quiet.
Shanna is looking and feeling very pregnant and taking the final steps toward having the baby. She debates baby names, completes her bridal registry and has an awesome shower, scoring some great gifts for the baby-to-be. Meanwhile, Travis attends a car show where he is presented with a brand new Cadillac. He also does some Christmas shopping for the kids and ends up buying a huge amount of toys for them. Shanna gives birth to a beautiful baby girl that she and Travis decide to name Alabama. Not only are the parents excited about the new additon to their family, toddler Landon has already shown his excitement by 'playing' with her, too. All is well in the Barker household as they celebrate the birth of their new daughter and relax. That's a wrap! Alabama was born on December 24, 2005.
