A British television situation comedy broadcast on ITV between 1984 and 1988 starring Richard O'Sullivan, which centred on the challenges faced by a widower raising his adolescent daughter.
A client promises the Harraps a holiday in Greece in exchange for making a video but on arrival at the airport they discover the tickets are worthless as the company has gone bust. Fortunately Nell's friend Pinky saw this coming and made sure the company never got the tapes as well as providing them all with a holiday in his country cottage.
Samantha may be taking O-level French, but she can't pass up this A-level Frenchman - especially when he comes to stay with his old friend...
