When they discoer that the Roman money is worth over 10,000 pounds, greed begins to replace the friendship between the men. Tony tries to steal the coins, Bob threatens to shoot him and it looks as though the newfound wealth is going to bring only grief to them both. When Hilda suddenly uncovers the real and terrible meaning of their discovery, a new light is thrown on them.
