When 13-year-old Rachanda Pickle goes missing near the Oregon Highway Division, suspicion falls on her stepfather, who has a dark past, but the discovery of connected crimes from the 1970s suggests the truth may be more complicated.
Detectives discover that Rachanda's disappearance is connected to other crimes buried in Oregon's wilderness, and now they must close in on a suspect who has evaded justice for decades, but he is always one step ahead.
