Savoire Faire the rat wants the meat from the fort. Klondike is guarding it.
Klondike chases Savoire Faire through the snow.
Klondike Kat has to deliver a beautiful piece of Roast Beef to the Fort by train, but Savoir Faire is everywhere and gives him trouble.
Major Minor has Klondike Cat to buy a dozen creampuffs for the Governor of NW Territories, who was coming Fort Frazzle. Obviously, Savoir Faire and Mallimutt steal them for their own use. Eventually, Klondike recovers the creampuffs and capture both mouse and dog. Without a way to stop, Klondike, standing on Savoire Faire, announces, "Klondike Kat always get his mouse!"
Major Minor tells Klondike Kat to watch a nice bunch of banana's for the next day they will be made into a banana cream pie, but Savoir Fare gets to them first.
As Savoir Faire steals food from Major Minor, Klondike Kat follows him back to his tree house where he and Malamutt are feasting, but Klondike can't get up the tree.
Klondike uses a bunch of pies to try and capture Savoir Faire, by setting booby traps.
Klondike finally catches Savoir Faire and puts him in jail, but with him in jail, Klondike has nothing to do, so he now has to get him out of jail.
This cartoon featured Savoir Faire, the French mouse with a penchant for ill-gotten goodies, who was continually pursued by Klondike Kat, an inept Northwest Territory Mountie stationed at Fort Frazzle. Klondike, under orders from Major Minor, pursued the elusive rodent, eventually stopping him in spite of his bumbling efforts. During the chase it is not uncommon to hear Savoir Faire taunt his nemesis, "Savoir Faire is every-waire!" To which Klondike would answer in frustration, "...I'm gonna make mincemeat out of that mouse!"
Savoir Faire is stealing all the food, and Major Minor has Klondike Kat go after him. Klondike gets a pill from a doctor to give to Savoir Faire so that he can capture Savoir and get him to do anything he wants. However, it backfires, and the plan is switched. Klondike gets the drug, and Savoir Faire has him do the stealing. Major Minor ends up following Klondike Kat straight to Savoir Faire, whom he captures.
Klondike Kat is in New York bringing back some secret cheese to the fort. The New York Police Department sends him back on a balloon in order to avoid Savoir Faire. But Savoir Faire is everywhere, and he jumps onto the balloon from the top of the Empire State Building. A major aerial battle ensues between Klondike Kat and Savoir Faire- but in the end, "Klondike Kat always gets his mouse."
Klondike goes into town to a rough and tough bar to find Savoir Faire who is disguised as a bartender and tricks Klondike Kat.
