Haie takes care of inheritance issues. He closes estate disputes and exposes questionable heirs — all while respecting the wishes of the dead.
Nao Haie, a former elite lawyer turned detective, specializes in solving complex inheritance cases with the help of his unique team of friends. Reiko Mitomi, a medical student and Nao's assistant works alongside Hideki Tomonaga, a former ace researcher, now employed at a private appraisal company, as they tackle challenging and intricate cases.
Detective Nao Haie stumbles upon a dispute over the estate of a mystery novelist, who left a video will despite knowing it wouldn't be legally valid.
