Examining the life and times of Adolf Hitler and following the full arc of his ascent, tyrannical reign, criminality and undoing.

In the aftermath of WWI, an unknown Austrian named Adolf Hitler, who was a German solider in WWI, becomes a local celebrity in Munich's burgeoning far right political scene. Before long, he's vying for control of the city, and Germany itself.

After serving a short time in prison for leading a failed coup d’etat and being convicted of treason, Hitler returns to Munich with a vision for leading Germany to greatness.

Hitler consolidates his power after becoming chancellor, turning Germany into a dictatorship. As the Führer, Hitler quickly transforms the country and claims a leading role on the international stage before pivoting towards expanding the Reich.

At the height of his power, Hitler embarks on a genocidal war of conquest, which threatens the future of the continent and the lives of tens of millions of European Jews.

As Germany faces catastrophic losses in the war, especially in the fight against the Soviet Union, Hitler turns his focus to extermination of all European Jews.

As his Reich crumbles around him, Hitler retreats to Berlin in January 1945. In the Führerbunker, he experiences desperation and personal betrayal during the final weeks of the war before taking his own life.
