In series one, 6 year old Hetty Feather and her little brother, Gideon are forced to leave their “borrowed” family and return to the Foundling Hospital which the fearsome Matron rules with an iron fist.
In the second series, our indomitable heroine, Hetty Feather, continues her battle against the harsh conditions and unfair punishments at her home in the Foundling Hospital. Hetty's determination to find her mother leads her into more conflict with her arch enemy, the cruel and manipulating Matron Bottomly.
