Based on the week’s news and fronted by guest hosts, this extended version of the satirical news quiz features more of the stuff that wouldn't fit into the regular programme.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this series was the first not to be performed in front of a live studio audience and was instead recorded remotely from the homes of the assorted presenters and panellists.
Even though COVID-19 remained at large, Series 60 saw the show return to the studio with both the panellists and a reduced studio audience observing social distancing rules.
Ordinarily, the second series within any given year of Have I Got A Bit More News For You has 10 episodes but the planned start of this series happened to coincide with Queen Elizabeth II's death and subsequent state funeral, thereby truncating this particular run to just seven episodes.
