Grim Pickings is a 1989 Australian mini series shot in the Adelaide Hills about a family who makes its annual pilgrimmage to an elderly aunt's orchard to help with the apple harvest.
The Tender family get together on Great Aunt Alice's farm for the annual apple picking. A dead body disturbs the weekend's proceedings.
Another attempted murder and house fire with dire consequences occurs. Birdie plays detective and solves the mystery of "whodunnit".
