Fractured Flickers is a live-action syndicated half-hour television comedy show that was produced by Jay Ward, who is otherwise known for animated cartoons. The pilot film was produced in 1961, but the series wasn't completed until 1963. Twenty-six episodes were produced; they were syndicated by Desilu Productions and played for several years on local stations.

Segments include: A bullfight. A seemingly glamorous model for a shaving razor turns out to be a bearded woman. The 39 Stoops -- an early take on The 39 Steps. An interview with Rose Marie. Tarfoot of the Apes -- a take on Tarzan of the Apes starring Elmo Lincoln. Pre-vues of Coming Attractions: Route 56 -- an out-of-control car runs down almost everything.

Our host introduces "Jay Ward Prevues" and other wacky clips; and he hands over his entire paycheck to Anna Marie Alberghetti.
