Flo is an American sitcom which aired on CBS from 1980 to 1981. The series is a spin-off for Polly Holliday who portrayed the sassy and street-smart waitress Florence Jean "Flo" Castleberry on the sitcom Alice. Flo was cancelled at the end of its second season.
Wisecracking Florence Jean Castleberry was heading for a posh job in Houston when she left Mel's Diner on the Alice show. But in the opener of her own series, Flo gets no farther than her home town, where she buys a rundown roadhouse on a dare.
It's not all fun and games when it comes to Flo and her competitive nature with her annoying sister-especially in regards to her advice on the way Flo runs her life (and her own business!)
