A short documentary series presented by Nigel Roebuck, revisiting the careers of legendary Formula 1 drivers.

Nigel Roebuck has been a Formula 1 journalist / writer for well over 40 years. In the 70s and 80s, he was the drivers go to guy. This was before press officers and PR people. If he wanted to do an interview with a driver, he just asked them. As a result of this, he has an incredible archive of, largely, unheard interviews with many of the great racing car drivers of the 70s and 80s, most of whom are no longer here. These interviews have become the basis of a short documentary series called Echoes of the Past.

Nigel Roebuck looks back at the life and career of Ferrari's beloved Canadian driver, Gilles Villeneuve.

An in-depth retrospective on the 1976 Formula 1 World Champion James Hunt, highlighting his personality and racing career.

A tribute to Swedish F1 driver Ronnie Peterson, featuring insights into his career and tragic death at Monza in 1978.

Marking 20 years since Ayrton Senna's tragic passing, Nigel Roebuck reflects on his interviews with the Brazilian legend.
