Damodar Das lands in Hagda amidst colossal personal loss and an uncertain future. Awestruck to see their new postmaster, the villagers soon discover his connection with their haunted post office.
The arrival of Damodar makes the villagers throng the post office for their long-due correspondences. While Damodar faces difficulties to adjust in the new place, Madhusudan becomes his sole companion.
Damodar wins everyone's hearts with his solemn behaviour. But he is not at peace as memories haunt him and remind him of the sole motive behind taking up this job.
While Damodar learns a saddening truth about his parents from the villagers, he also gets suspicious about Madhusudan's whereabouts.
