'Countdown Revolution' was an attempt to update the long running ABC television-music program 'Countdown' for the late 1980's. Filmed at Melbourne's Metro nightclub, the nightly show had a modest cult following until it was axed the following year.

Hosts: Tania Lacy and Mark Little. Filmed at Metro Nightclub, Melbourne. Performances from Poison (Nothin' but a Good Time), Kylie Minogue (Hand on Your Heart) and Brother Beyond (He Ain't No Competition). Appearances from Cyndi Lauper.

The infamous 1990 episode of 'Countdown Revolution' where hosts Mark Little and Tania Lacy held an unauthorised protest on air against boy band New Kids on the Block and bands miming on stage, conducting an on-air industrial action on the entire half-hour program.
