These are the adventures of Coestar in the world of Minecraft!
Just getting started and picking a place t o hole up (with a nice view).
And I thought we were getting off to such a great start... man, I almost had a pregnant.
Now we're getting down to business.
I really, really like the sun. Also, sorry for my bad cooking habits! I'll be more attentive in the future. :P
Is our mineshaft finally going to yield something useful?
The deeper we go, the creepier it gets. It's starting to get interesting.
Shortening the supply trips and taking advantage of that ground-level door.
Buncha' chickens. Buncha' pigs. Buncha' cows. Buncha' SHEEP. TOO MUCH HAM, NOT ENOUGH HIDE.
...perhaps it's not quite as dark as I thought?
Time to get in there and wrangle that spawner! Also, hello r/Minecraft! HERP DERP
Establishing our bottom-level base in preparation for making a spawner trap and the on-going diamond quest.
But which one? So many quests...
Seems like everything is difficult for me... at least you get to learn from my mistakes. :P

[SPOILER] I went an entire episode without being blown up or suicidal! Amazing!

Fleshing out the castle... and digging a hole. Really, my motives were (and remain) quite benign!

After getting tired of billy goating up and down that mountain, I've decided to build that suggested water ladder...
There's certain important things you need to know before you even *think* about building a water ladder. Guess who didn't know those things?
Just a little bit more work towards erecting our castle, hardening the structure by adding a few more turret shafts. That should really help stiffen things up.
Niko will never be able to appreciate my gift to him. :P
It feels like a waste, anyway, but only because I'm typically short of lumber. Feels weird to be building with it. :S
Putting some finish on the ceiling/floor of Castle Dogbone, followed by sudden new things.
So far, this mine has been super effective at uncovering redstone ore.
I have so much redstone now. I could make a redstone computer, or redstone minecart track switchers, or redstone pancakes, or redstone underwear...
Doing quite well so far, found a lot of coal and redstone, and a decent amount of iron. Thinking I'm just about through with floor 1 now. :)
Ooo, bonus episode! It seems I've discovered the source of the magma and those creepy sounds...
I guess it could be worse. XD
Who would've thought that a tree farm could be so rewarding, eh?
After all this time, we're finally exploring a cave! Pretty decent one, too. :)
I think we've hit our iron goal, and I think my tree farm is actually starting to work!
Working on connecting the two bases now, but it looks like I'm gonna have to dig up some more iron to finish it.
Wow, I vastly underestimated the amount of iron I was gonna need! We're getting there, though. Sorry for the late episode... gonna try to make it up to you somehow later this week. :D
Branch mining is so awesome. It's a good thing I like it, 'cause that's all I've been doing for the past few nights. Still, I've found a lot of diamonds and iron, so I can't complain anyway. :)
The track is finally complete - now to make it actually usable!
Now to finish building those stations and actually RIDE THIS TRACK!
It's time to start prepare for our upcoming trip to hell. Luckily, now that the Pilif INTER-Base Railway is complete, we can throw a portal up at both ends and see if making a pitstop in hell is worth it...

Back at Station hubba44, but all is not well... It seems some invaders have made themselves at home while I was away.
Ok, I think the hubba44 station is back under my control once more. Hopefully it stays that way. :)
Oh, the plans I have for hell. Those (sorta) peaceful zombie pigmen have no idea that I plan to take over their kingdom... muahaha. :)
Running around in hell again, getting some lightstone. Thinking about building a base in hell. Setting trees on fire. It's been an interesting day. :P
After dealing with my now burning tree farm, it's time to head back to hell and get started on that base! :D
Yes, ghasts can't beat cobblestone - the day is mine! I'm taking over hell, you damn pigs! Muahaha!
And so begins our massive project to take over hell. Now that I've secured the de.monkeyz Portal, I'm building a bridge over to our as-of-yet unnamed portal. :)
It seems my deeds will not go unpunished! No matter, the quest must go on! The bridge to somewhere must be built!
I ain't 'fraid a' no ghasts. The bridge/corridor thing is beginning to piss off the ghasts, I think -- I'm not such an easy target now! Does it make me a bigot if I say it worries me that so many zombie pigmen are using my bridge already? o.O
It's probably about time we wrapped things up in hell and moved on to bigger and better things. There's so much yet to be explored! :)
This new area is really interesting yet surprisingly thin on jack o' lanterns. :/ I guess that means I'll just have to go searching farther. On a related note, the world map has been updated!
A very strange relic was discovered on my world map, which I must investigate. I also found a very enchanting forest in a valley, which looks just amazing.
The exploration of this new, enchanted realm continues onward. Many interesting land-sculptures to behold, and one in particular I claim for my own.
The flying "Misty Island" is starting to feel like home, if you ask me. We'll see what happens. Why are mobs so suicidal? They don't seem to have any sense of self-preservation. :P
Ok, I can't say I'm feeling too great about this new area around the Misty Island. :( It looks great, but it feels BAD.
Since I lost my items, I ran around and gather some supplies. Now it's time to check out something interesting people found on the world map!
I got attacked by something I haven't experienced before, and I attempt to build a hut near to our newly discovered dungeon. :)
I think I'll get it right this time! :D Sure! What could go wrong?
So far to travel, so much pain to endure, all this work just to find a cactus! Who knew?
Did I get my items back? Will the creepers ever let me be?? AAARRRRGGGG!!
Later I was really wishing I had brought some obsidian along. -.- Well, I'm not exactly know for my forethought, am I?
I think the terrain generator is trying to ask me out on a date. What do you think?
Doing some work towards making the dungeon hut feel a little more like home. Still a little rough around the edges, though. :)

Looks like they're out for vengeance, word must've got around about my two skeleton traps (and one destroyed skeleton spawner)! They've sent skeleton assassins to whoop my ass. :P

Finally, the cliffhanger from E089 is resolved! How did it turn out? Who knows? Not me!
I've never explored a cavern system quite like this one, it truly is a labyrinth - and it only seems to be getting worse and worse.
There really doesn't (yet) appear to be any end in sight for this cavern - every pathway I clear out yields two more, and seems to be full of baddies. This is definitely the most epic cavern I've ever explored.
This one is kind of self explanatory, I think. Must be my punishment for trying to explore out this cavern and make it my own...
I know some of you aren't fans of caverns because they're boring, or too scary for you, or whatever - hang tight! I have plans...

I would say that the Labyrinth has been 95% explored at this point, excluding caverns that require some demolition to expose. It still had a few final tricks up its sleeve, but I think it's safe to say that this cavern has finally been defeated.
How about we hit the surface and get some sun and fresh air? Time to go take care of some loose ends and get organized for things to come.

Work continues on the new railway station. I don't know why, but this is the most engaging project I've taken on in Minecraft. I'm really, REALLY excited to see it working completely (full arrivals/departures). :D
Just about finished with my basement - installing all the final gate logic comes tomorrow. :)

I am really surprised that I've been having so much fun with redstone - I thought I'd hate it, but it's pretty cool when it actually works. :) Anyway, kudos to Necramar for the tutorial on the 4-way Track Switcher (hopefully I didn't screw it up too badly)

And so the fort building really begins. Also, the 1.5 update sounds like it is going to be the biggest update we've had since Halloween, and probably way better! :)
I think the wall really ties the plateau together, even though I've had to murder a lot of trees to build it. Anyway... DogFort to Red Lobster, over...
Just about done. Doing a bit of landscaping as I go, and now all I can think about are towers and spires and turrets. Let me know your ideas!

Clearing out and cleaning up the tower, liking it a lot better now than I did before. :)
