Budgie the Little Helicopter is a series of children's books and animated television series relating to a fictional character 'Budgie' and his friends. The characters were based on the books by Sarah, Duchess of York, who was influenced by her flight training in the Royal Navy. The show was produced by Fred Wolf Films Dublin for HTV and Sleepy Kids Company, and originally aired on British television in 1994 on CITV, then, was aired later on in the United States of America on Fox Kids. The TV Show ran for 39 episodes, and a range of videos, books, and toys were released under the 'Budgie' label. Budgie the Little Helicopter merchandise is now quite rare. On release of the first book, the Duchess was forced to deny she had copied the idea for the series from the earlier Hector the Helicopter book by A.W. Baldwin. The voice of Budgie was originally performed by Richard Pearce.

The heliwash gets damaged when heavy pipes are accidentally dropped on it, all the while Mrs Kitchen is baking a cake for Ken.
During bad weather Wally recounts the time he saved a man from a shark.
Budgie must act when it is discovered that the airfield is going to be closed to make room for a factory.
All of the aircraft travel to France.
The crew travel to Holland on their return journey from France in order to drop off a delivery but a problem occurs for Budgie when he mistakes a windmill for a helicopter.
As the new airport is unveiled, Budgie must come to the aid of the Minister for Airports.
Budgie becomes determined to break the sound barrier.
While towing two kites Chuck crashlands in a pond.
Budgie and Chuck are shocked to realise that Pippa has been replaced by a double.
Trouble ensues as Budgie is tasked to become a traffic helicopter for the day.
Buddy, a giant helicopter, puts Budgie incharge for the day, with disastrous consequences.
Disaster strikes as Budgie discovers that all water in the surrounding area has vanished.
