When his antiques dealer dad winds up in hospital following a rather mysterious accident, book-smart Barnaby teams up with NYC tough girl Nina to save the family's cash-strapped business.
Barnaby Walker decides he's the man to sort out his family's cash-strapped antiques business when a mysterious accident lands his dad in hospital.
Concerned for the safety of her family Nina moves them in with the Walkers. Barnaby is left floundering as more of Nigel's secrets are revealed. The police inch closer to the criminals that left Smith dead.
Barnaby and Nina urgently need £500,000 to save their kidnapped mothers, while Nigel uses his power to find a way to distance himself from the mess he has created in London
The statues vanish, leaving Barnaby, Nina and Leah in yet another tight spot. And, as if things couldn't get much worse, Angel shows up in England, too.
Backed into a corner by Angel, Barnaby and co must embark upon a risky mission to enter the Shermans' super-secure mansion and steal back the statues by force.
Barnaby and Leah fly to Mexico to give the cartel what they were promised, but Nina has been Nina has been captured and is suddenly along for the ride too - which causes major tensions between Angel and his father.
Stuck in the desert with a drug lord in their car boot, Barnaby and Nina are in a real mess. The pair are even more worried when they learn that the Sherman twins have put a price on their heads.
Barnaby and Nina need to escape Mexico. But with a price on their heads, the only way is to pose as man and wife. What could go wrong?
Having made it back to England, Nina is desperate to get home to her family. She's out of options - until the Shermans offer her a reward for finding the Hitler painting. But Barnaby wants no part of it. So now Nina has to choose between Barnaby and the money.
Barnaby has been taken prisoner by Colin McQueen, who is also looking for the Hitler painting. Nina and Leah will have to work together to find the picture and free Barnaby while trying to keep the Sherman Twins' bounty hunter at bay.
When McQueen discovers the painting he has been given is fake, a gun fight ensues at Barnaby and Nina's wedding, arranged to allow a safe place for the hostage/painting exchange. As the dust settles, Barnaby realises what true friendship really is and Nina claims her bounty from the Sherman Twins.
