A small-town policewoman is chasing a vicious serial killer; at stake is first a country girl's life, and then her own life.
Agnieszka is investigating a girl’s death in Opole: all evidence points to ritual murder. At the time, Piotr was teaching religious studies there.
Agnieszka comes across a similar murder from months prior. Meanwhile, Ewa becomes an easy target for Piotr, who still watches her every move.
Exhausted Agnieszka has a theory about the perpetrator of the crimes and is convinced that he has already begun his search for the next victim.
