Young Tatsumi travels to the capital of the Empire in order to earn money for his starving people and encounters a world of unimaginable depravity, dominated by the ruthless Prime Minister who controls the child Emperor. Tatsumi is recruited by Night Raid, a group of assassins dedicated to eliminating corruption by mercilessly killing officials and privileged nobles.

Tatsumi recounts the beginning of his time in the Capital. He recalls how he was scammed by Leone out of all his money, before being taken in by a seemingly kind noble family.
Leone presents her latest culinary creation, a dish called "1-Minute Meal," to Najenda. However, Najenda immediately recognizes that it looks like garbage.

The episode begins with Leone complaining that the main series lacks fanservice, suggesting that it's all put into the extra segments.
The special begins with a commercial for the "Tyrant," a giant, dragon-like Imperial Arms. Lubbock appears as the presenter, selling the "Tyrant Enhancement Super Set" to Tatsumi and the rest of Night Raid. The commercial promotes how the set can enhance your "body" by turning you into a powerful dragon, just like the original user.

Tatsumi is speaking with Sheele and mentions that her clumsiness is so extreme she once put Mine in the laundry with the rest of the clothes.
In this short episode, the focus is on the character Esdeath in a humorous, exaggerated setting of a torture chamber classroom
The characters (members of Night Raid / Empire cast) go on a field trip—likely for “social studies” in the sense of a school‑style outing rather than a serious mission.
The plot of "The Tale of Estaro" is a gag that pokes fun at the relationship between Wave and Kurome, particularly Wave's attempts to connect with Kurome despite her withdrawn nature.

This short parodies the main events of Akame ga Kill! episode 9, "Kill the Battle Fanatic," where Tatsumi participates in a martial arts tournament and is aggressively wooed by the general Esdeath.
An advertisement for a toy version of the Teigu “Incursio” (the Demon Armor wielded by Tatsumi) appears, promoting it as an amazing product that can fly through sky, sea, and land.

The gags likely include character mismatches: perhaps male/assassin characters like Tatsumi or Lubbock being in a girls‑bar context, or female characters like Leone, Akame, Mine being in bar hostess/maid style roles for comedic effect.
The episode probably features characters reacting to or creating a spoof commercial for a product (likely a Teigu or weapon‑toy) in the style of a home‑shopping infomercial.

Unlike the hidden, somewhat spartan base in the main story, the theater skit humorously portrays the new hideout as a comfortable apartment with modern conveniences, creating a contrast that is a staple of these comedic shorts.
Tatsumi and Esdeath run into each other by chance while they are both hunting Danger Beasts in a forest.
Seryu conducts a “crime‐prevention class” (i.e., a classroom setting) where she instructs or demonstrates to other characters (or perhaps viewers) the “right way” to prevent crime.

Tatsumi and the other Night Raid members are discussing their family histories. When the conversation turns to Tatsumi's mother, he admits he knows very little about her.

The episode opens with Lubbock trying to tell a scary story to the members of Night Raid: Najenda, Leone, Akame and Susanoo. He claims a haunted‑house tale.
The short opens in the Night Raid headquarters (or a comfortable setting at their base). A sudden scream echoes from somewhere in the building.
Syura, the arrogant son of the Prime Minister, showing off and bragging about his power.
In the segment, Tatsumi is attempting to sell a set of gardening tools.
Leone plays the part of the Grateful Crane and Tatsumi takes the role of the kind-hearted young man.
The short plays on the audience's perception of Tatsumi as the central protagonist for much of the series.

Tatsumi reunites with everyone.

Wrap Party in heaven.

Recap of the first eight episodes of the main series.

The story begins with Tatsumi, a young swordsman from a remote countryside village, who travels to the Imperial Capital seeking funds to save his starving home. Once he arrives, he discovers that the capital is riddled with corruption and cruelty. He stumbles upon the secret group of assassins known as Night Raid, who are fighting to overthrow the tyrannical and corrupt regime that governs the empire. Tatsumi is recruited into Night Raid and begins his journey in a world of bullets, blades, and moral conflict.

The Night Raid's hideout is invaded by intruders! The assassin clan was able to drive out the enemy without a problem. Tatsumi experiences the true intensity of the Night Raid for the first time and he is thrilled.

The target this time is the capital's rumored phantom serial killer known only as Zank the Executioner. Just like the Night Raid, he is an Imperial Arms user as well.

Sheele, who has no particular role in the hideout is assigned as Tatsumi's trainer. She explains how and why she chose assassinating as her career. Tatsumi, who still doesn't have an Imperial Arm of his own, tests out the Imperial Arm taken from Zank.

Night Raid is tasked with the eradication of a drug trafficking organization within the Imperial City. Tatsumi and Leone head towards the red light district. The two learn of the horrific details of the organization and their rage is apparent. Meanwhile, Sheele and Mine go after the Tybil, former leader of the organization when they suddenly feel an alarming presence.

General Esdeath arrives at the capital and is brought to the Emperor to discuss annihilating Night Raid. The Emperor wants to reward her for her services but her request is somewhat surprising.

Tatsumi and Bulat stand before the Three. Among them is Bulat's former leader, Liver. The battle quickly turns into a one-on-one combat between Bulat versus Liver and Tatsumi versus Nyau.

Tatsumi inherits Bulat's Imperial Arms Incrusio after defeating the Three and vows to become even stronger. Mine's attitude towards Tatsumi seems to show a change after seeing his dedication during training... Meanwhile, General Esdeath receives news of the Three being defeated and in order to reinforce the army's strength she organizes a special police force of Imperial Arms users known only as the Jeagars.

Esdeath has taken Tatsumi after winning the combat tournament. And the reason being... love at first sight?! That being said Tatsumi has not only been forced to become Esdeath's lover but also an auxiliary member of the Jaegers. Tatsumi and Esdeath observe as the Jaegers raid the bandits' hideout; he witnesses how powerful the Jaegers truly are. All the while Tatsumi tries to find an opportunity to escape and return to the Night Raid's hideout...

Dr. Stylish discovered Night Raid's hideout as he followed Tatsumi. A battle quickly commenced between Night Raid and Dr. Stylish's fortified army who struck with a surprise attack. Tatsumi and Mine are enraged as they see Kakusan equipped with Sheele's Imperial Arms Extase. A fierce battle continues within the hideout when suddenly something came down from the Sky...

After dealing with Dr. Stylish's attack Night Raid leaves their base and hides in the mountains. After welcoming the newly joined member, Night Raid experienced a brief moment of peace, even amid training. Mine, who has been teased relentlessly Chelsea, the newcomer, tells Tatsumi and Lubbok that she wants revenge.

A new species of Danger Beasts have emerged and has been terrorizing the vicinity of the capital. Minister Onest has ordered Esdeath to seize and defeat them. Esdeath leads the Jaegers to go to deal with them. But something suspicious in the shadow is keeping an eye on their actions. Meanwhile, after Night Raid settles into their new hideout, they're also on the move to deal with the new Danger Beasts.

Tatsumi and Esdeath meet again by chance while exterminating Danger Beasts. Esdeath is pleasantly surprised at the unexpected reunion while Tatsumi is overwhelmed. Even while fully immersed in the joy of their reunion, Esdeath notices that a man's been watching them from the shadows.

A widely accepted religious organization among the civilians known as the Path of Peace is quickly gaining more followers. It is rumored that they will cause an armed uprising in an attempt to fight against the corrupt government.

In order to combat the Jaegars, Night Raid is separated into two groups. Tatsumi and Akame are to deal with Bols, Kurome, and her puppets. The battle proves to be difficult as Kurome's Imperial Arms Yatsufusa has the ability to freely control the dead.

After being cornered by Akame and Leone, Bols sets off an explosion and flees. While he is trying to get back to his comrades, he runs into a hurt girl who is crying. Meanwhile, Kurome's medicine starts wearing off and she starts remembering her days with Akame as well as their sad goodbye, while stumbling through the mountain. While leaning against a tree eating snacks, someone approaches her...

Borick is scheming to take over a religious faction, and Night Raid heads to Kyoroch, where that religion has its headquarters. The Jaegars also head to Kyoroch to act as bodyguards for Borick. Wave is worried about Kurome, who still hasn't healed from her wounds. Night Raid safely infiltrates Kyoroch, however they must now face Borick's own appointed guards, the Four Koukenji Rakshasa Demons.

Night Raid continues to work on their plan to assassinate Borick in Kyoroch. Tatsumi and Mine wander around the city, but then end up running into Seryu, who is responsible for Sheele's death. Mine decides to end things once and for all with her, while Tatsumi fights Suzuka from the Four Demons.

Kyoroch is freed because of Night Raid, which strengthens the Revolutionary Army's power. In this dire situation, Commander-in-chief Budoh and the minister's son, Shura, join the fight against Night Raid. Meanwhile, Night Raid infiltrates the capital yet again. Tatsumi and Lubbock go after Minister Onest in the palace by sneaking in with the help of one of the Revolutionary Army's spies.

In order to instill fear into the hearts of those among the Rebel Army, the capital has spread the word that Tatsumi will be executed publicly. Night Raid receives notice of this and intends to rescue him.

Following Tatsumi's capture, Night Raid successfully defeated Commander-in-Chief Budou but at the cost of Main and Susanoo's lives. The Revolutionary Army surrounds the capital as the civilians start to riot. Wave is confounded by what he sees as Ran calmly observes how everything unfolds. Meanwhile, Kurome senses that the end of her life is drawing near and seeks to settle things with her older sister once and for all.

The Revolution finally reaches its final phase; Night Raid is en route to assassinate Minister Onest, the root of the problem. All goes according to Najenda's plan as the Revolutionary Army successfully invades the city. Night Raid arrives at the Palace where the Emperor and Minister are located. Unlike the panicked Emperor, the Minister is composed and confident as they prepare to unleash their trump card. As the palace trembles, something appears from below...!

The empire's army has been defeated and all that remains is the empire's strongest, General Esdeath. Akame and her sword stand in Esdeath's way as she desires to continue breeding war. The two face one another. The final battle begins. What will the result bring forth? A new kingdom where the citizens can live in peace or will there be more bloodshed...?
